'Stars Shining Bright Above You'

To celebrate our end of term, Mary, from Out to Learn Willow, came in to show us how to make our own willow star decorations to take home for the Christmas celebrations. Our group ranges in age from 5 1/2 years to 9 years. It took some perseverance and concentrated work with fingers, but all of us took home a star as individual as we all are. We helped one another, we chose materials to make our work special for us. Then we all had a lovely party lunch followed by pass the parcel (with the addition of sprouts and carrots thrown in as alternative surprises). And chocolate santas of course. Happy Christmas!
