Spot the difference

There has been a flurry of interest in learning multiplication facts over the last few weeks. Some of the children have created their own games to test each other in a fun way. We also have a piece of work that starts in the Children's House with colour and shape and continues on into elementary with the maths bead bars - it's called the deconomial square. It is a long piece of concentrated work - creating the deconomial square (all the times tables from 1x to 10x) vertically and then horizontally. Part 1 culminates in identifying the squares of the numbers - important for a follow on piece of work next term. Spot the difference!
